Turner, Sabelhaus wed

Mr. and Mrs. Jared Sabelhaus

Rachel Turner, daughter of William and Carolyn Turner of Washington, and Jared Sabelhaus, son of Steve and Mary Jo Sabelhaus of Tell City, were united in marriage July 10 at Christ United Methodist Church in Washington, with Rev. Lennie Lawrence officiating. The bride’s attendants were Tara Turner and Carrie Bailey, both sisters of the bride, Jenny Hoffman, Heather Watson, Ashley Monfreda and Kim Strobel, the bridegroom’s sister. The bridegroom’s attendants were Brad Sabelhaus, brother of the bridegroom, Scott Strobel, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Steve Goodson, Matt Goodpaster, Nick Scott and Justin Brown. Ushers were Justin Castelli and Dan Maple. The bride wore an ivory satin gown and carried ivory hydrangeas. A reception was held at the Gasthof in Montgomery. The bride is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School and a graduate of Franklin College and Ivy Tech, Columbus. She is employed as an athletic trainer at St. Francis Hospital and a registered nurse at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Tell City High School, a 2005 graduate of Franklin College, and earned his master’s degree in 2009 from Indiana Wesleyan. He is employed as a financial analyst at AIT Laboratories in Indianapolis. Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Greenwood. Out of town guests were from Indianapolis, Columbus, Tell City, Elizabeth City, N.C., and Bloomington.
