A Michigan woman is facing multiple charges of child molesting. Washington Police filed three charges of child molesting against Britney M. Huffman, 19, Fenwich, Michigan.
Huffman was arrested in connection with an alleged series of incidents with an underage boy.
Washington Police investigated the case. Detective Brandon Garland says in a probable cause affidavit that police had questioned Huffman following her arrest last April in an unrelated case.
Huffman told the detective that she moved to Washington last January and was living with a man on McCormick Avenue when they broke up later in the month. She said she awoke the morning of Jan. 26 in that man’s bed and felt like she had been raped. She said she could not recall anything that happened.
Police interviewed the man who admitted to having consensual relations with Huffman and he said a male juvenile at the house also had relations with her. Garland says the man said that he had recorded the events on camera.
Garland says the juvenile originally denied having relations with Huffman but later admitted to it. Both the juvenile and the man said encounters did not involve rape.
Later in the investigation Garland said he came across a witness who said he had seen Huffman engage in intercourse with the juvenile on two other occasions, once in April and another time in July.
Huffman was arrested earlier this week and is being held on $100,000 bond.
