WE NEED YOUR HELP TO HELP OTHERS! BUILD-A-BAG 2020: Generations is partnering with Purdue Extension, Red Cross and Daviess, Greene, Knox and Martin RSVPs in an effort to help the individuals that we serve. Please consider helping us by donating items to fill bags for these individuals who are encouraged to remain in their homes at this time. At present, it is difficult for them to get the items and products that they may need to help keep them safe and healthy. We want to boost their spirits by treating them to a goody bag full of things that they need. For a list of needed items, drop off locations and times, visit the Generations website at www.generationsnetwork.org or visit our Facebook page. Thank you, in advance, for supporting Generations and the individuals that we serve!

The site is designed to address the increase in anxiety, depression and other mental health issues caused by the pandemic, including both first-time issues as well as preexisting mental health concerns.

LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN AVAILABLE: Did you know that the local Ombudsman is available to advocate for residents of long-term care and residential facilities? The primary purpose of the Ombudsman is to promote and protect the resident rights guaranteed to residents under federal and state law. During this time of nursing home and other facility visitation restrictions, please know that Long Term Care Ombudsman services are still available to residents. While ombudsmen are restricted from visiting facilities, you can still talk with the ombudsman in your area via telephone or email.
