Sunday

12:57 a.m. — Police were called to Wal-Mart at 1801 S. SR 57 to deal with two shoplifters.

11:39 a.m. — Officers were called to a domestic dispute at 10 W. Sycamore St. That led police to make a traffic stop at 225 Ogden St. where they arrested the operator for driving without a license.

8:15 p.m. — An employee at Wal-Mart at 1801 S. SR 57 requested police help in investigating the theft of four sets of sheets valued at $85 per set.

Saturday

2:55 a.m. — A caller reported a semi-trailer in a ditch at 65 S CR 200W.

7:41 a.m. — Officers were called to a one-vehicle property damage accident where a car struck a utility pole and knocked down the utility lines at 1600 Cosby Road.

11:15 a.m. — Police received a report of a vehicle being burglarized at 114 W. Main St. The caller said the vehicle had been ransacked.

1:28 p.m. — City officers were called to investigate a theft of an IPhone at Wal-Mart at 1801 S. SR 57.

1:37 p.m. — A caller at 408 Northwest First St. told police someone got into his car and threw papers around.

4:58 p.m. — Police received a report at 212 Southwest Second St. of a vehicle being broken into and some change taken.

5:43 p.m. — A man came on station at 101 Northeast Third St. to report the theft of his food stamp card.

Friday

10:52 a.m. — A man told police at the station at 101 Northeast Third St. that someone had taken the license plate off of his vehicle and replaced it with an expired plate.

1:25 p.m. — Police received a report of a two-vehicle property damage accident at 900 S. Meridian St.

2:50 p.m. — Officers were called to Casey's at 2009 E. Nat'l. Hwy. to deal with a reported theft case.

3:02 p.m. — A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported on the Casey's parking lot at 2009 E. Nat'l. Hwy.

9:14 p.m. — Police were called to assist EMS in dealing with a motorist passed out on the CVS lot at 307 E. Nat'l Hwy. The event resulted in police arresting the driver on drug charges.

Friday

12:16 p.m. — Deputies were called to a property damage accident at 7845 N CR 1200E.

6:45 p.m. — A one-vehicle property damage accident was investigated at the intersection of CR 225W and CR 300N.

6:48 p.m. — A man at 499 Bent Avenue told deputies someone stole a bottle of prescription medication from his desk.

8:14 p.m. — The sheriff's department was notified of an accident on I-69 after a woman arrived at the Daviess Community Hospital seeking treatment for injuries.

ARRESTS

Dustin Parker, 28, of Martinsville was arrested Friday by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department on a warrant for theft. He was being held on $2,500 bond.

Lindsey Ervin, 31, of Odon was arrested Saturday by Washington City Police on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine. She was being held on $2,500 bond

Justin Russell, 34, of Linton was arrested Saturday by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated refusal, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held on $2,000 bond.

Brooke Wolven, 23, of Washington was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department Saturday on a warrant for neglect of a dependent. She is free on $2,500 bond.

Justin M. Frederick, 42, of Wheatland was arrested Sunday by Indiana State Police on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated refusal, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance. He was being held without bond.

Ronald L. Veller, 51, of Washington was arrested by Washington City Police Sunday on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. He was being held without bond.

Angela K. Howard, 52, of Washington was arrested Sunday by Washington City Police on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. She was being held without bond.

Nathan D. Odell, 29, of Bridgeport, Il. was arrested Sunday by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department on a warrant for failure to appear. He is free on $2,000 bond.

Jessica Perez-Hernandez, 38, of Washington was arrested Sunday by Washington City Police for driving while suspended. She is free on $2,000 bond.

Whitney R. Abbott, 30, of Washington was arrested Sunday by the Daviess County Sheriffs Department on a warrant for two counts of battery against a public safety official, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. She is free on $2,500 bond.

Darrell L. Kemp, 35, of Odon was arrested Sunday by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department on a warrant for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated resulting in endangerment. He is free on $2,500 bond.

Stacey A. Long, 49, of Washington was arrested Sunday by Washington City Police on a warrant for failure to appear for dealing in methamphetamine. He is being held on $7,500 bond.

Bolivar Prophete, 45, of Washington was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department Sunday on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated refusal. He was being held without bond.

MARTIN COUNTY ARRESTS

The Martin County Sheriff's Department arrested John Moffett, 46, of Shoals on Tuesday at 4:53 p.m. on charges of criminal trespass, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and battery. He was being held without bond.

Loogootee Police arrested Virgo Dupcil, 27, of Florida City, Fla. at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was being held on $2,500 bond.

Loogootee Police arrested Michael Black, 41, of Linton on Saturday on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, neglect of a dependent, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance. He was being held on $2,500 bond.
