Sherry L. Arvin, 61, Washington, passed away Thursday at Daviess Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 20, 1952 in Daviess County to Raymond Neukam, Jr., and Naomi (Wilcoxen) Neukam. She was a graduate of Washington High School and received her QMA from Vincennes University- Jasper campus. .
She married Jack L. Arvin on Nov. 22, 1974 and he survives. Sherry was a member of the Aikman Creek Baptist Church and had a passion for mushroom hunting, fishing, gardening, going to casinos and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had worked at US Rubber Plant, retired from UPS where she had been a driver and then worked at the 57 Liquor store.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Sherry is survived by her Husband, Jack L. Arvin of Washington, sons Robert Austin Wilson II, of Belleville, Ill., and Brent Allen Wilson of Washington, daughter Stacey Dawn Arvin of Washington, 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three brothers, Steve Neukam, Danny Neukam, and David Neukam, all of Washington also survive.
Services will be at noon Monday at Gill Chapel with the Rev. Ron Raymond officiating. Burial will be in the Aikman Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
