The Blue Chip Athletic Conference Girls Tennis All Conference Team for 2019 was recently announced.

Leading the way in tennis singles was Moriah Bullock of Barr-Reeve, Melaina Tippery and Emily Wade of Loogootee, and Chloe Terwiske of NE Dubois.

In doubles, Barr-Reeve's Kadee Claridge and Kaitlyn Mincey, along with both NED teams of Delaney Rasche and Olivia Schroering, and Paige Knies and Alexis Stafford were all named All-Conference.

Honorable Mention singles player included, Mykayla Couchenour, Ella Hayes and Lauren McCrary of South Knox, Bella Atkinson, Maggie Earley, Macee Hamilton and Avery Vantlin of Vincennes Rivet. Named from WC was Hallie Leischner and Jenny Lopez.

The conference was won by NE Dubois at 6-0, followed by Barr Reeve at 5-1, Vincennes Rivet at 4-2, Loogootee at 3-3, Wood Memorial at 2-4, South Knox at 1-5, and Washington Catholic at 0-6.

Also posted was was the All-BCC softball team.

Leading the team was two pitchers, Hannah Graber of Barr Reeve and Sydney Davis of Loogootee.

Position players included: Melissa Wagler of Barr Reeve, Asia Crim, Tyanna Graber and Adie Nolley of Loogootee. Also named was Rebecca Brosmer, Brooklyn Dodd and Hadley Fuhrman NEDubois, along with Katie Kixmiller, Cayman Strain, and Phoebe Worstell of North Knox. Rounding out the first team was, Kyndall Elliott of South Knox and Gretchen Reel of Wood Memorial.

The Honorable Mention team consisted of Jenna Harrison and Tracy Stoll of Barr Reeve, Callie Wininger of Loogootee, Camryn Stemle of NED, Haley Fischer and Kaley Roush of Shoals, Jianna Hughes of South Knox along with Bailee Speicher and Khloye Strickland of Wood Memorial.

The conference was won by Greg Clark's Lady Lions with a 6-0 record, followed by Barr Reeve at 5-1, NED at 4-2, North Knox at 3-3, Wood Memorial at 2-4, South Knox at 1-5, and Shoals at 0-6.
