NASHVILLE — Barr-Reeve had a successful day at the Brown County Invite on Saturday. Lady Viking Makenna Pruett was the Brown County Eagle Classic cross country invite Class A champion, while the team placed second and had four girls finish in top eight of the race.
“All B-R girls raced well and finished with season bests,” said coach Susie Graber.
Following Pruett in first was Melissa Wagler in fifth, Katie Wagler was seventh and Andrea Graber was eighth. Kendall Tompkins was 63rd, Lille Yoder was 75th, and Corrine Corbine was 85th.
The B-R boys team finished fifth with two runners in the top 15. Conner Heller finished eighth overall, and Bryce Murphy was 13th. Colton Stoll was 28th and Luke Lengacher was 44th. Also scoring was Kaden Boyd in 44th.
Also running was Mitchell Kavanaugh in 74th and Grant Harrison in 79th.
