Barr-Reeve edged Washington, 3-2, in a girls high school tennis match at Lena Dunn Elementary School courts Tuesday.

Barr-Reeve won two of the three singles matches while the teams split doubles.

Barr-Reeve’s Allison Hoover won first singles in straight 6-3 sets against Brittany Pierson. Melody Rohrer also won second singles for the Vikings, 6-0, 6-2, against Chelsea Brown.

Washington¹s Audrey Rogers won third singles, 6-3, 6-4, against Bethanie Knepp.

Barr-Reeve won first doubles as Destiny Kidwell-Hania Sisco defeated Rachel

Chattin- Audra Stallman, 6-4, 6-1.

Washington’s Kayla Mercer-Becca Guthrie won second doubles against Baleigh-Kaitlin Swartzentruber, 6-3, 6-4.

Washington’s Amber Showalter and Marlee Stoner won junior varsity reserve matches, 6-1 and 6-3 respectively. Lynetta Graber won a junior varsity 6-2 decision for Barr-Reeve.

Washington’s Baylee Wildman-Miriam Ibarra won a doubles match, 7-6 (7) and Kelly Aldrich-Haven Lunsford won 6-3.
